Dr. Peter Davies is a British general practitioner and NLP writer. According to his own author notes, he graduated from Leeds University in 1989 and has worked both in hospital medicine and in general practice; he became a GP in Mixenden, a deprived area of Halifax in West Yorkshire.

Davies describes himself as endlessly fascinated by the ways in which patients make sense of their illnesses, and his essays apply the ideas of Neuro-Linguistic Programming to medicine, family life and personal change. The essays collected on pualib include "Big Picture of Health", "Hopes and Fears", "Grendel's Mother" and "Drama Triangle", in which he examines three-cornered relationships of the classic perpetrator-victim-rescuer type, shows how such triple binds are built and suggests two NLP techniques for dealing with them.
