Bob Cassidy (b. 1949, Kearny, New Jersey) is an American mentalist, speaker and author of several books widely regarded as classics in the field, including The Art of Mentalism (1983), The Principia Mentalia (1994), and The Artful Mentalism of Bob Cassidy (2004). In 1978 Cassidy, and fellow mentalists Tony Raven, Scott Gordon, Mary Lynn, and Dian Buehlmeier, founded the Psychic Entertainers Association, which has since become mentalism's primary international professional society.

Born in Kearny, New Jersey. Professional stage mentalist, magician, speaker and author of several (e)books. In 1978, with fellow mentalists Tony Raven, Scott Gordon, Mary Lynn, and Dian Buelmeier, co-founded the Psychic Entertainers Association (P.E.A.), which has since become mentalism's primary international professional society. Editor of Vibrations, newsletter of the P.E.A., from 1978 - 1981, and 1984.

Bob will be lecturing on the techniques of mentalism. Together with his most popular routines, he will discuss and demonstrate the fundamental skills and methods to create the illusion of "real" mindreading.

Bob Cassidy has been a performing mentalist for twenty-five years. His performing credits are extensive, ranging from Holland America Cruises to Hollywood's Magic Castle. His previously published works include: Pseudomentally Yours, The Art of Mentalism, The Art of Mentalism 2, Principia Mentalia, and numerous contributions to such periodicals as Vibrations, Invocation, and Bascom Jones' Magick. Currently, Bob is the editor and main contributor to Quintessence, the Journal for Psychic Entertainers.

Bob is a founding member of The Psychic Entertainers Association and a member of New York's Legendary 13. He was recently appointed director of the Northwest Field unit of the Office of Paranormal Investigations. He denies any affiliation with the Bavarian Illuminati, saying simply, "We don't exist, so don't ask."

Performance credits include inter alia, Holland America Cruises, Hollywood's Magic Castle, network television, talk radio and Fortune 500 corporate clients throughout the United States.
