SoSuave was created at a time when the online seduction community consisted mostly of newsgroups and mailing lists. It grew into a large library of free articles on meeting, attracting and dating women, short "quick tips", a "Hall of Fame" of the best contributions and, above all, the SoSuave Discussion Forum, which over the years became one of the biggest and longest-running men's dating forums on the internet, with thousands of members discussing approaching women, relationships, self-improvement and life.
The site's own introduction is written in the voice of a man who used to be shy, awkward and tongue-tied around attractive women, and who turned things around by learning a set of simple rules - "The 22 Rules That Let Me Go From Zero to Hero With Women". Its articles cover everything from openers and first kisses to handling a woman's mood swings and talking about your ex, in a practical and often humorous style.
Allen Thompson is also the author of The Six Don Juan Commandments of Body Language. In it he explains that after years of studying body language he concluded that most of the "little signs" described in books are interesting but useless: no single gesture can tell you what someone is thinking, and trying to interpret clusters of signals in real time is too much for anyone who also wants to be charming and witty. Instead, he offers six simple rules for using your own body language to project a confident, suave image.
Thompson receives hundreds of emails a day and recommends that readers post their dating questions on the SoSuave forum, where many experienced members are ready to help.
