Dr. Gray is the author of 16 books, including Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus (HarperCollins 1992) which USA Today reported to be "the number one best-selling book of the last decade - it is the number one relationship book of all time." USA Today also acknowledged that Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus is one of the top 10 most influential books of the last 25 years. In the past 15 years, over 40 million Mars and Venus books have been sold in over 45 languages throughout the world.

Dr. John Gray was a Certified Family Therapist for over 15 years and has been conducting personal growth seminars for over 30 years. He received his doctorate in Psychology and Human Sexuality from Columbia Pacific University in 1982.

John Gray, Ph.D. helps millions of people understand, respect, and appreciate the different ways men and women communicate in both their personal and professional relationships. His latest book, Venus on Fire Mars on Ice, explores the connection between health, hormones, and relationships, focusing on the ways each gender deals with stress differently and how stress hormones complicate our ability to relate to one another. He continues to detail the important role of good nutrition and offers practical solutions for a balanced mind, healthy body, and loving relationships.

Dr. Gray has authored 16 other best-selling books: What You Feel, You Can Heal (Heart Publishing 1984), Men, Women and Relationships (Beyond Words Publishing 1993), Mars and Venus in the Bedroom (HarperCollins 1995), Mar and Venus Together Forever (Harper Perennial 1996), Mars and Venus in Love (HarperCollins 1996), Mars and Venus on a Date (Harper Collins 1997), Mars and Venus Starting Over (HarperCollins 1998), Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus Book of Days (HarperCollins 1998), How to Get What You Want and Want What You Have (HarperCollins 1999), Children Are from Heaven (HarperCollins 1999), Practical Miracles for Mars and Venus (HarperCollins 2000), How to Get What You Want at Work (HarperCollins 2002), Truly Mars and Venus (HarperCollins 2003), and The Mars and Venus Diet and Exercise Solution (St. Martin's Press 2003).
