As you may be aware, MingleMonkee was created with UK only members in mind. We made the difficult decision to do this as a trial first of all to test the system with real life members but also to monitor and see if there was interest from further afield.

We're happy to report that ever since the website launch we've been really impressed with the volume of international visitors to the site. As a consequence, we've had several messages asking if we can open up the site to allow for foreign users to experience everything that MingleMonkee has to offer.

Technically, we're very able to be able to amend the site to introduce users from a variety of geographic locations - including having a.com address. The only question is whether there is any issues with opening the dating site up for a global audience? Are there any legal issues we would need to consider as obviously every nation has their own laws and legalisation?

It's something we're going to be reviewing very soon - but we also want to make sure there's no negative impact on performance for our current UK users.
