Does Your Online Dating Profile Do You Justice How To Get Better Dating Results Online
There are a totally different set of rules to play by when you are using an online dating site. The big problem, is that not many people know how to play by them, and as such often find that they don't get much response from other site members. When you are out and about around pubs and clubs, most people find it hard to start to chat to a total stranger, and that is why with the development of the computer, and the Internet, there is an upsurge in dating agency members. There is a certain safety in contacting other members through your laptop, and it is definitely an enjoyable experience, but once you get past the initial exuberance of joining an agency, the fun begins to wear off if you are not getting any feedback off other site members. If this is the case, then you have to ask yourself if you are doing something wrong. Here are some very brief tips to make yourself more attractive online to other members.

1 - This seems an obvious one, but do you have a great picture of yourself on your profile. I don't mean one that you quickly downloaded as an afterthought, I mean a picture that you did specifically for your profile that shows your best physical features. This is the image that will initially attract someone, so you should take a lot of time and though over what you should put out online.

2 - Is what you have written about yourself, light-hearted, original, and witty? If it isn't then you have got a problem with your profile and it needs sorting out. Your profile information should be optimistic, happy and full of confidence. Let me be blunt; you are trying to sell yourself online and you usually have about 5 to 10 seconds to convince another member to read more about you. If you don't seem an interesting person, people will just continue to scroll down the page until they find someone they like. Your initial impact on other members should be original, so try not to use the same old well used phrases, spend some time and work out what makes you different.

3 - When you send-off an opening Email to introduce yourself to other members, don't send a lot out in one go in the hope that someone will reply. Find a profile you like, and personalise the email, asking questions about information that he or she has written about. For example if their hobby is walking, ask them how often they go, and where they like to walk. Don't really go into detail about yourself, but ask questions, because everybody loves to answer questions about themselves, and nine times out of ten, will reply to you with full answers.

If you use these three simple tips, believe me, your results online will improve immensely, and you will never be short of a date, or even two.
